Hiring Live Musicians
How Can You Reduce Your Wedding Expenses, Receive a Tax Deduction and Promote the Arts at the Same Time?
Sponsor the Share the Love Radio Shows Radio Show
Recording engineers selected by Building Bridges will record live music performances throughout the year and from those recordings a Share the Love Radio Show broadcast will be compiled and broadcast on the theme of love. Your sponsorship will promote local musicians and recording engineers in your community, sharing the love through music.
If you would be willing to hire live musicians of your choice for your wedding and a recording engineer selected by Building Bridges to record at least one song from your event, you will be helping to promote local musicians and their music and share that music with the public through a later radio broadcast. The phonoright for the recordings will belong to the artist, but you will have permission to use the recording for your own personal use and duplicate it for friends and family as a momento of the event.
The two radio shows that are part of this project are listed below:
Jack Pollard Show
The Jack Pollard Show is a radio show of the live performances of Jack Pollard and his guest artists at live events in 2008 and 2009, will be broadcast on air and/or internet radio.

How does your donation become a tax-deduction for you and still accomplish Building Bridges non-profit objectives?
Building Bridges needs to hire musicians and recording engineers for each live performance that will be included in the radio show. You, or someone else, can sponsor the music and live recording. The sponsor will write a check to Building Bridges for the amount it would cost to hire the musicians for one song and the cost to record the live performance. Building Bridges then pays the musicians and recording engineeer. Whoever writes the check to Building Bridges, receives a tax-deduction for 90% of the cost of the videographer for a 2 hour minimum of time at your wedding reception. Your sponsorship will promote a local musicians and recording engineers in your community, sharing the love through music.
