About Michael Arntz

Michael Arntz combines his years of experience as a musician with his training as a ballroom dance teacher to help beginning students learn how to dance to the music with skill and ease. His patience and expertise help students feel comfortable about learning to dance for the first time. He is accomplished in many styles of dancing, including Argentine Tango, Ballroom and Salsa. He received his teacher training through private lessons and Diane Jarmolow's Ballroom Teachers College. He is certified with high honors as a professional dance instructor through ProDVIDA.
Michael Arntz and Karen Lile are dance partners and co-teachers. They work with Building Bridges, a Walnut Creek based non-profit organization on several projects. They are the Dancing to Health and Community Circles Dance Directors for Alameda and Contra Costa County. In this project development role, they work with Kaiser, local ballrooms, churches, social groups and schools to develop new programs and support existing programs that bring the gift of dancing to many.
Michael and Karen are also Share the Love Project Artists. Individuals who commission them to create a dance choreography for their wedding or special event are connected to tax deduction benefits and opportunities to serve the community through this project.
